In the digital story telling, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” Sarah Hill presents her story from when she was young till now, wondering “What do I want to be when I grow up?.” First, when she was young, she was wondering about her career and she nominated 3 different jobs: chef, international businesswoman, or fashion merchandiser. She grew up in a small town located in southeastern Ohio called Monroeville. She is the happiest person in the world when she is surrounding by people she love. Second, after 2 years since she gradated she asked herself the same question again “What do I want to be when I grow up?”. She discussed 3 jobs again, but not the same ones when she was younger. She was confused between: student advisor, student life coordinator, or career guidance. Finally, she decided to be a student advisor and she still asks herself the same question “What do I want to be when I grow up?”. She is happy to help students in their trip to real life. She consider that the “What do I want to be when I grow up?” is not pressure for us, but an encouragement.
The way of presenting of the digital story telling was good and motivated. The topic was interesting and little bit surprising especially when she is asking herself the same question over and over. She used a good language and she spoke clearly. The images are expressive and mach the topic. It would be better if she went deeper into the story.
