Failure Story

Hello. I would like to describe what I had experienced while coming to Columbus.

In the early morning on the August 31st, I left my hometown, Chitose City, Hokkaido, with my family seeing off. It was cloudy on that day, as if it showed what I was worrying about the life in US. 2 hours later, I arrived the Narita airport, it locates on the city close to Tokyo. And after several hours later again, I finally left Japan. There were not problems so far.
On the plane heading for O'Hare, passengers who are in non-immigrant visa status were required to fill in a paper called "I-94". Behind of the paper I found the notice saying " This Side for Government Use Only", therefore I ignored it. It was mistake. The muscular officer at passport control threw the white paper violently with saying something. I could not understand what he uttered so decided to ask other officers. But it was not until when I found her after an hours of the rejection. I managed to get out from there, of course by having get through other officer's gate.
The disaster continued. When I was waiting for a plane to Columbus at O'Hare, I felt very strong drowsiness because I could hardly sleep at the plane for excited. So I decided to take a rest sitting on the chair, next to the boarding gate68, whose number was also on my air ticket. I was negligence and forgot their way of working. Before 30 mins the plane took off, I was still on the chair because there are no announcement. I begin to feel that it is strange, so looked at the display offers information about flight. I was correct this time. The gate has changed to "67",without notice. I confirmed my ticked many time, but it said "68". But I saw many passenger boarding from gate 67, so I asked the cabin attendant about it, and she said something positive.
In a such way, I could reach Columbus at almost midnight, with very kind welcome from my roommates.
