In my country when we finish school on December we get a vacation for about twenty days which are the most wonderful period in the whole year because of cold weather and going desert. You might surprise about that, but we have only three weeks winter and the rest year summer. Moreover, we go desert since we have many black camels there. First of all, my family prepares food, drink and tent and then my father would call our relatives who live almost far from us. Therefore, the winter break helps us to know each other and also for fun, so it's all in one. After putting the stuff on the car, and when the car starts everyone smiles and I'm the person who does that. On the way, my car and others' cars follow each other which make a nice picture. Then, we stop to make a plan for the trip, so my father and my uncles talk about how long it's going to take and collecting the money. Secondly, we sometimes take one to three days on the way. We know that it's so difficult, but we do that. When we arrive, women go inside the tents cooking and men stay outside talking and caring camels. My uncle always does contests for all of us and he gives the winner a gift. The contests are camel racing, running, and general information. I personally got that gift every year when I was there. We spend a special time with our relatives playing and talking
In the past camel played very important role in many purposes such as transport, meat and milk. There two types of camel the one-humped camel and the two-humped camel which is not Arabian. We call the camel the "ship of the desert". In addition to that, there are many colors for camels; for example, black, brown, white, and gold. Each one has a difference using like the white camel for milk, the brown camel for racing and the black camel for her beauty. They don't bite if you are kindly with them. For instance, I have my own camel in my country, so she always when I go to her she hugs me. My uncle was the first one who told the president of UAE to make a festival for black camels in 1995. Nowadays, the government makes a big festival for two kinds of camel the black and the brown. Therefore; the government spends millions for this festival because black camels now cost more than one million which depends in her beauty; for example, if camel has dark black hair, long neck, huge body and heavy foot. I know a person who sold his camel by fifteen million dirham which equal 3 million dollar.
